Route from Fort Collins, CO to Salt Lake City, UT

After we leave Fort Collins, we will be traveling north along I25 where we will meet our fellow travelers in Cheyenne. After we leave Cheyenne we will travel west on I80 and make another stop in Larimie to pick up the last of our group before heading west to Salt Lake City and the our home away from home for the next 7 nights. We will be arriving in Rawlins about 11:30 a.m. where will stop and have some lunch. We will most likely arrive in Salt Lake around 6:00 p.m. in time for dinner.

You may not have known that I80 is not far from the historic Overland Trail. I will post a map of the stage route in my next blog.
